ACR/SBI Has Released a New Toolkit for Breast Cancer Screenings
The ACR/SBI have just released a toolkit that advocates for early risk assessment by age 30, annual screening at age 40, and supplemental screening/earlier screening for high-risk women. The toolkit stresses the benefits of screening over the often over-exaggerated “risks.” This toolkit has materials directed to both physicians and patients. There is also a PowerPoint presentation with talking points for radiologists presenting to referring clinicians and administrators that can be accessed by ACR login.
