Governor Lamont Promotes Breast Cancer Awareness Month
On Tuesday, Oct. 15, Jefferson Radiology in Farmington hosted Governor Ned Lamont and other public officials to recognize October as Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
In an upbeat press conference, the governor outlined the critical need for women to have their screenings because early detection saves lives. He urged anyone who needs more information to simply dial 2-1-1 and noted that financial assistance is available through several state programs.
