Please Save the Date for the Radiological Society of Connecticut’s Semi-Annual Membership Meeting on Wednesday, June 21^st, overlooking the water, at Amarante’s Sea Cliff in New Haven.

Networking and beverages with hot and cold hors d’oeuvres will be served at 6:30 p.m. 

Business meeting and dinner will commence at 7:15 p.m.

RSC Members,

The ACR announced on Sunday that it has started a Data Sciences Institute to marshal the development and appropriate use of machine learning (artificial intelligence) in the field of radiology. As you must realize, this is advancing very rapidly. At the June 21st RSC Semi-Annual Membership Meeting, I will talk about the ACR effort, but we also have engaged Mark Michalski, a radiologist and the head of the new Data Sciences Center at Massachusetts General Hospital, an expert on artificial intelligence, as our keynote speaker. I have asked him to teach us what are machine learning and artificial intelligence and talk about how they might be used in our specialty. I hope to have this followed by an open microphone session so attendees will ask questions and express their opinions/concerns. Anyone interested in the future of our profession should attend the meeting..
